Free Shipping Policy
Typically, Hertz rental cars must be picked up and dropped off onsite. If you are renting a vehicle from a Hertz neighborhood (off airport) rental location, you may schedule within your reservation a Hertz pickup and drop-off ride service free of charge. Hertz Local Edition now offers a delivery service to your office, home or repair shop, at a small selection of participating locations (currently exclusive to Texas). Call your neighborhood Hertz to find out more: 877-654-7700.
Return Policy
Hertz does not refund or credit back customers for any unused rental days. Any changes to a Hertz rental car reservation may impact the rental charges. Prepaid reservations cancelled more than 24 hours in advance of pickup time will incur a $50 cancellation fee while prepaid reservations cancelled within 24 hours before pickup time incur a $100 cancellation fee. The entire prepaid reservation amount will be forfeited if the reservation is not cancelled prior to pickup time and the rental car is not picked up. Hertz allows customers to make changes to their reservation up to two times, either through their online ‘Modify/Cancel’ reservation page, or by calling the Internet Helpdesk.
